Who we are
Notre Dame Academy is now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 Academic Year.
Founded in 1853, Notre Dame Academy was the first all-girls day school in Massachusetts. Today, we continue to prepare the next generation of young women for lives of purpose. We offer exceptional academics. A vast range of opportunities to explore outside the classroom. And a community of faith and service. All of which builds confidence. Confidence that lifts girls up and opens their hearts so they can lift others.
Every aspect of learning at NDA is tailored to girls – every class, program, club, and team. This advantage allows NDA girls to discover their potential and grow with confidence – in the classroom, in their community, on the field, on stage, or in the lab:
- Through our dynamic curriculum, with 21+ AP courses and hands-on STEM instruction, we embolden girls to think big and take risks, building their self-esteem and resiliency.
- With a 8:1 student to teacher ratio and more than 40 co-curricular activities, we promote exploration and self-discovery, encouraging girls to pursue new opportunities in a nurturing environment.
- Our preeminent athletics program includes multi-level teams in 19 sports, from basketball and lacrosse to sailing and gymnastics.
- 100% of our graduates are accepted at four-year colleges, and 25% pursue majors in science, technology, engineering, or math.
As you explore our viewbook, you will discover what makes NDA a unique community where students grow into purpose-driven leaders and lifelong learners.
