Fort Worth Christian School

Fort Worth Christian School is located in the northeast Fort Worth suburb of North Richland Hills (NRH) on our current 40-acre campus obtained in 1956, just a few years after the City of North Richland Hills was incorporated. The 1950s were a time of enormous expansion of Tarrant County and the greater Fort Worth area following the end of WWII. This area was experiencing a booming economic future! Founding FWC families from around Fort Worth were looking for affordable land on which to establish a Christian educational institution (see history below). Many of the names of the streets around our campus are named after founding families who first lived in this area that was once a dairy farm. When NRH was incorporated in 1953, there were only 500 residents but grew to over 8,000 by 1960 and over 75,000 residents today (with an estimated 150,000 residents in the greater northeast Tarrant County). Obtaining these 40+ acres in a developing area of northeast Tarrant county in 1958 clearly demonstrates the wisdom and foresight of our founders
