Who we are
At Dallas International School we educate our students to be global citizens.
- Students turning age two through 12th grade receive a bilingual French and English education, culminating with a French Baccalaureate diploma and US High School diploma.
- DIS also offers an International Program for grades 5 through 12 where courses are all taught in English, with the exception of languages courses, culminating with an International Baccalaureate diploma and US High School diploma.
- There is no prior French needed in grades EC2/TPS through 3rd grade/CE2. DIS offers an immersion program for grades 1 through 3 for non-French speakers.
- In grades 11 and 12, DIS also offers an Advanced Bilingual IB Diploma Program, Bilingual IB Diploma Program and IB Diploma Program.
- Third language instruction includes Spanish, Mandarin, and German. Courses in Spanish and Mandarin begin in EC4/MS.
- With over 40 nationalities represented at DIS, students are exposed to many cultures and perspectives.
- The exchange program in high school allows students to discover a new country while continuing their studies at a partner school.
By teaching more than just the essentials, we prepare students for college and beyond.
