Annunciation Catholic School is a joyful Preschool–8th grade community in the heart of South Minneapolis where students are known, loved, and encouraged to become who God created them to be. With faith at the center, we challenge students to learn, grow, serve, and lead.

As Minnesota’s only Catholic International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) school, Annunciation encourages students to ask questions, think critically, and make meaningful connections between their learning and the world around them. Schoolwide Spanish, STEM, creative arts, athletics, service, and leadership opportunities further enrich the student experience.

As students move into middle school, they are challenged by a rigorous academic program that builds independence, responsibility, critical thinking, and strong study habits. With dedicated teachers, leadership opportunities, and engaging coursework, students are prepared to confidently take the next step into high school and beyond.

At Annunciation, families become part of a close-knit community where relationships matter. Students build connections across grade levels through our beloved Buddy Program, while school traditions, celebrations, activities, and family events bring our community together throughout the year.
