Who We Are

Hawaii Baptist Academy (HBA) is a PS-12 Christian college-preparatory school that provides a safe and nurturing environment and equips students spiritually, intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally.  Built on Biblical values, our school challenges students to pursue academic and personal excellence in the classroom of life. HBA is just the right size for families who seek a variety of educational and athletic programs within close-knit, supportive environment with a student to teacher ratio of 11:1.  

Hawaii Baptist Academy offers an outstanding academic program that uses time-tested instructional methods, supported by cutting-edge technology. Our program includes project based learning, leadership development, and a myriad of service learning opportunities. HBA has developed a reputation for solid academics with our students regularly scoring well above the national and state averages on both the SAT and ACT.  HBA provides a foundation of faith, builds opportunities for life-long friendships, teaches compassion through service, and encourages the pursuit of excellence in all areas of life. We seek to nurture the unique abilities and interests of our students.

Hawaii Baptist Academy operates four campuses, serving students from Preschool through Grade 12. Our GracePoint campus in Mililani offers a Preschool program for children ages 2 to 5. The Nuʻuanu campuses serve students from the Early Learning Center (ages 3 and 4) through Grade 12.

Application Process

We will begin accepting applications for the 2026-27 school year beginning August 1, 2025. The application deadline is January 15, 2026.  Please contact Mrs. Patricia Chang (Director of Enrollment Management and Admissions, Grades 7-12 and International) Mrs. Becky McGuire (Admissions Director, Grades K-6) or Ms. Kalei De Mello (Principal of Preschools/ELC) for questions on a specific campus or if more information is needed. 

Open House

We invite you to attend one of our Open House events on Saturday, November 15, 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet our admissions team, faculty, and HBA student ambassadors; tour our campuses; and learn more about our curriculum, athletics, and other programs.
