Who we are
Maria Montessori (1870–1952) envisioned and helped realize a new educational approach, and Alexander Montessori follows her philosophy. Our task is to aid children in their work of self-creation and to help them become independent learners and thinkers. We aim to help our students live up to our motto: "To Learn to Love to Learn." Alexander Montessori School seeks to meet your and your child's individual needs from early education through their elementary years.
Our Elementary Campus is located at 14850 SW 67th Avenue, where we offer Grades 1 through 5 (ages 6 to 12 years).
We offer Toddler Programs at two locations: Our Palmetto Bay Campus (ages 18 months to 3 years), located at 17800 Old Cutler Road, and our Old Cutler Road Campus (ages 2 to 3 years), located at 14400 Old Cutler Road.
Our Preschool Program (ages 3 to 6 years) is offered at three locations: Red Road Campus, located at 6050 SW 57th Avenue, Old Cutler Road Campus, and Palmetto Bay Campus.
