Latin School of Chicago is the city's oldest independent school serving over 1,190 students in junior kindergarten through grade 12 from 46 different Chicago neighborhoods and 24 suburbs. Located next to Lincoln Park, the school is an urban campus where students are fully engaged with Chicago's numerous educational, cultural and community organizations.
Since 1888, Latin has been committed to academic excellence in an environment that creates a life-long love of learning and supports students as they pursue their passions. Latin students are diverse in their interests, opinions, talents and backgrounds and we value the variety of experiences that they bring to our learning environment.
Class Size: Average class size is 14 students per class with a 9:1 student to faculty ratio.
