At Waldorf School of the Peninsula, we don’t reject technology - we teach children to become the kind of people who can use it wisely with intention and purpose. Our developmentally aligned, screen-conscious approach ensures that students first build focus, empathy, and agency before diving into digital tools. By high school, our students don’t just learn how to code - they grapple with the ethics of AI, the philosophy of consciousness, and the social impact of innovation.
WSP At a Glance
- High School (9th - 12th grade): Rigorous academics meet artistic, practical, and experiential learning in a program designed for depth. Students learn to think critically, engage deeply with complex ideas, and develop the confidence and self-knowledge to pursue what comes next.
- Elementary and Middle School (1st - 8th grade): A rich, experiential curriculum brings academics together with the arts, movement, nature, and hands-on learning. As students grow, the work deepens, building strong academic foundations alongside curiosity, creativity, independence, and responsibility.
- Early Childhood (Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten): Play is the work of early childhood. In warm, nurturing classrooms and abundant time outdoors, children develop imagination, confidence, social capacities, and a lasting sense of wonder.
