What makes St. Lucy School unique?
Curriculum: St. Lucy School offers a challenging and well-rounded curriculum, focusing on teaching the whole child. Instruction transcends the classroom as students learn social, emotional, and life skills that apply beyond the halls of St. Lucy.
Hands-On Programs: In each classroom, students are encouraged to learn through hands-on activities, labs, and projects. Over 125 science experiments are conducted in our Science Lab each year!
Extended Day Care (EDC): St. Lucy School offers a flexible drop-in EDC for students in Elementary and Jr. High before school starts and after dismissal. Students meet in the EDC facility and play on the playground, basketball courts, and field, while also offering a place for students to work on homework.
Campus Life & School Spirit: Between snack shack, spirit rallies, a talent show, and student appreciation, there is no shortage of spirit at St. Lucy School. Each morning, our students, faculty, and parent community gather together to begin the day with prayer, announcements, and birthday celebrations. On a monthly basis, 8th graders lead their own Family Group, consisting of K-7 students, providing valuable leadership experience while also encouraging St. Lucy School's unique sense of community and togetherness among all.
Welcoming Community: The friendships and bonds made while at St. Lucy School often last a lifetime, among students, parents, and families. The parents of St. Lucy students are involved in many aspects of the school, creating a community that is welcoming, warm, and full of fun. Alumni students and their families often return to campus for special events to reminisce and reconnect with St. Lucy School.
Prepared for Life: Our goal is to encourage students to be lifelong learners. In preparation for high school, students learn and practice organizational skills, leadership skills, time management, writing, research, and critical thinking skills. 100% of our graduates are accepted into a Catholic or private high school, of those who applied.
Admissions Criteria
- Applicant must be 4 years of age by September 1st to apply for PreK
- Applicant must be 5 years of age by September 1st to apply for Kindergarten
