Who we are
About
Mount Tamalpais School (MTS) is a co-educational day school for students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Located in Mill Valley, just 12 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge, our campus is surrounded by grass fields and redwood groves.
Families choose MTS for the joyful and robust learning experience we provide. Notably, all of our educators are specialists in their respective teaching disciplines, starting in kindergarten. MTS teachers challenge students with thought-provoking questions that build critical thinking and inspire curiosity. Meaningful relationships and a sense of connection and belonging are woven throughout the day via our social and emotional learning curriculum.
MTS students are well-prepared for the future while fully enjoying their childhood.
