In an unsteady world, a child’s education means everything. At Marin Montessori, students do real work that matters and that cultivates independence, curiosity, empathy, and confidence. Our AMI-trained educators guide students from Toddler through Junior High with a developmentally attuned approach rooted in both rigorous academics and real-world relevance.
We prepare children to become citizens of consequence who are capable, compassionate, and deeply grounded in themselves, their communities, and the natural world. Our classrooms are peaceful, purposeful, and joyful. They offer a vital alternative to the conformity and anxiety that define too many childhoods today.
Education here is not a race but a journey toward meaning, mastery, and connection.
Program Overview:
-
Toddler (18–36 months): Building independence, language, and coordination during a critical period of brain development.
-
Primary (Ages 3–Kindergarten): Cultivating focus, empathy, and a deep love of learning through a carefully prepared environment.
-
Elementary: Inspiring imagination, agency, and analytical thinking through interdisciplinary, self-directed study.
-
Junior High: Real work, real friends, and real life. Junior High students thrive as capable, grounded young adults.
Families join Marin Montessori seeking more than just a school; they join a vibrant, mission-driven community committed to raising thoughtful, engaged citizens.
