Julia Morgan School For Girls

Grades
6–8

Who we are

Julia Morgan School for Girls exists because middle school is a crucial moment for girls. That’s why every day we deliver an educational experience that ignites each student’s confidence and capability. Because when she learns to believe in herself as a teen versus an adult, she wastes no time in taking the world by storm.

The only all-girls middle school in the East Bay, grades 6-8, Julia Morgan School for Girls is a vibrant, collaborative, and immersive learning environment where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to cultivate curiosity, amplify their authentic voice, practice bravery, and champion community. Girls take center stage, play all roles, and establish confidence and positive habits that shape their identity.

The academic curriculum at Julia Morgan School is tailored to meet all needs of middle school girls. Subject areas are taught by passionate, expert teachers who put belief in self at the forefront of teaching. Through cooperative learning, individualized attention, and an interdisciplinary approach, students gain a deeper understanding of their subject material and how to use their lessons to help others. Students are engaged in explorations of culture, as well as environmental, economic, and ethical issues.

Julia Morgan School for Girls is a safe, supportive space for self-expression and individual growth. Our student-centered program features unique outdoor educational experiences at each grade level, project-based science and STEAM, classes focusing on social-emotional learning and building executive-functioning skills, all-school events that connect students with the broader community, and a wide range of extracurricular opportunities - all included in tuition.
