The College Preparatory School

For more than 60 years, College Prep has shaped a community of learners who engage deeply with big ideas and the craft of scholarship within a joyful and caring community. High school is a time to deepen your passions while exploring a world of new possibilities. College Prep encourages both individualism and inclusivity, fosters discovery and dialogue, and inspires and challenges our students. Our graduates come back year after year to share their lives with a College Prep community that has become family to them.

 

College Prep is located in Oakland's Rockridge neighborhood, just a two-minute shuttle ride from Rockridge BART. A vibrant independent day school for grades 9-12, our students come from over 100 different middle schools and live in many different Bay Area communities.
