Who we are
The Grauer School, founded in 1991, is a grades 7 - 12 independent, relationship-driven, college preparatory day school with approximately 160 students in attendance. Nestled in the beach community of Encinitas just 5 miles north of the San Diego city limit, The Grauer School serves students from surrounding communities as well as internationally. The Grauer School balances rigorous academics, enriching arts and athletics, and unparalleled leadership opportunities - all in a trusting and socially inclusive environment. There is no other private school like it in San Diego.
