Who we are
The Dahlia School of San Francisco is a Spanish-immersion Montessori program in Mission Bay, serving early childhood and elementary students with equity-based, hands-on education that nurtures independence, curiosity, community, and a love of learning.
Our Comunidad Infantil (18–36 months) is a calm, nurturing space where little ones begin to explore independence and joy in learning. With gentle guidance, toddlers practice everyday skills like preparing snacks, caring for themselves, and helping in their classroom community. Language, movement, and hands-on activities—such as painting, gardening, and cooking—encourage curiosity and self-confidence. As children grow, they build strong friendships and a love of school that prepares them for the next stage of their Montessori journey.
Our Casa de Niños (ages 3–6) is a joyful place where children grow into confident, curious, and creative learners. With the support of caring, certified Montessori guides, they explore math, language, sensorial, and practical life through hands-on lessons. Every day, children practice independence, teamwork, and care for themselves and their community. It’s a nurturing environment where learning feels natural, and childhood is celebrated.
Our Taller (ages 5–9) gives children the freedom to dive deeply into subjects they love while still meeting essential academic standards. In Spanish immersion setting, students build strong language, literacy, and communication skills through reading, writing, speaking, and singing. Guided by Montessori teachers, they take on meaningful projects that connect classroom learning with the wider San Francisco community.
Across all programs, children develop independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of discovery.
