Who we are
Traditional schools are designed to reward compliance. Red Bridge is designed to empower students with a sense of agency.
Our Vision
At Red Bridge, we want all students to graduate with a sense of ownership over their learning and their lives – so that no matter what the future looks like, they have the capacity to adapt and flourish. We define agency as the ability to set meaningful goals and have the will and skill to achieve them.
Red Bridge offers an exceptional academic education in an environment where each child is known deeply by their teachers and peers, their personal interests are supported, and their learning is unbounded. Red Bridge prioritizes a diverse student body in all senses of the term.
Through the structures of the school and relationships with our highly skilled teaching team, students begin to take charge of their own learning. That means even when a teacher is absent, Red Bridge students know what they need to be doing and why they’re doing it.
Red Bridge Students
Red Bridge students understand themselves as learners deeply – what motivates them, how they learn best with others, when and how to ask for more help. Red Bridge students know that learning and achievement are not zero-sum, and are eager to help their peers when asked or seek help when needed.
We believe this will prepare students for whatever path they choose next, and along the way, this pursuit of agency creates an energetic environment for genuine learning, collaboration, and creative endeavor.
