Who we are

Applications for SY2025-26 are now open!

Wolcott College Prep is an independent high school in Chicago designed for bright, college-bound students who learn differently. We provide a rigorous college preparatory curriculum in a supportive environment that emphasizes individual strengths and builds essential skills for success in college and beyond.

Our students benefit from small class sizes, personalized instruction, and teachers who are experts in working with diverse learning profiles, including ADHD, dyslexia, and executive functioning challenges. With an average class size of 10, students receive the attention they need to thrive academically while gaining confidence and independence.

Beyond academics, Wolcott offers a vibrant student life with athletics, clubs, leadership opportunities, and the arts. We are committed to helping students find their voice, explore interests, and build lasting friendships.

College readiness is at the core of what we do. Through dedicated college counseling, skill-building, and executive functioning support, our graduates are prepared to navigate the demands of higher education.

At Wolcott, we believe that learning differently should never mean learning less. Our mission is to unlock potential, nurture resilience, and ensure every student is prepared for the opportunities ahead.
