Thank you for your interest in Acera! We know that choosing the right school for your child is an important decision, and we are excited to share who we are and what makes us unique.
A SCHOOL DESIGNED FOR GIFTED LEARNERS
Acera is a K-9 school serving gifted students in Greater Boston. We are designed specifically for students whose curiosity and abilities extend beyond traditional classrooms. Through rigorous academics, ability-based math groups, passion projects, and thought provoking electives, students are challenged to reach their full potential. At Acera, curiosity isn't an extra curricular, it's the foundation of learning.
Our students are encouraged to ask meaningful questions, pursue original ideas, and tackle complex challenges with confidence. Small class sizes and strong relationships with teachers create an environment where students are known, supported, and inspired to take intellectual risks.

Acera enables gifted learners to become their best selves, to learn based upon ability and interests. We safeguard the spirit and innate curiosity of each child, in order to develop the next generation of innovators, scientists, and leaders for our world.
Our school is a microcosm of what is possible for all schools and a hub of innovation, catalyzing change in education beyond our walls.

If you would like to apply for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, we are currently accepting rolling applications for a limited number of spots. Our 2027-2028 applications will open on September 1, 2026.
