Who we are
Billings Middle School inspires students through academic challenge, personal discovery, outdoor and experiential learning, and community connection.
At Billings, we believe middle school should be a time of discovery—of self, of learning, and of the world. Billings is a dynamic, co-educational, stand-alone middle school where students are empowered to grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially. With a whole-child approach to education, we combine rigorous academics with meaningful personal development to prepare students not just for high school, but for life.
Located in the Pinehurst neighborhood of North Seattle, our students experiment with science in fun and inspiring places such as the Kraken Community Iceplex and the UW Chemistry Lab, integrate humanities and art in local houses of worship and museums, and explore astonishing outdoor locations like Deception Pass, Mt. St Helens, and the Olympic Coast. When middle school students stretch themselves in new contexts, they build personal resilience, confidence, and friendships that last a lifetime.
We encourage all families to inquire about our comprehensive Tuition Assistance program. Billings offers rolling admissions so please reach out to us at admissions@billingsmiddleschool.org if you wish to apply off-cycle.
